Fertilizer & Pre-emergent Crab Grass Control

 Keep in mind that the pre-emergent we put down in the spring is there to control the crab grass, etc while your turf grass is filling in and re-establishing itself from the winter. It only has a 60-90 day control window. Through the heat of the summer, yards can thin out & require a spray for crab grass in late summer.

Fertilizer & Spray of Broadleaf Weeds

We full spray the yards that have a lot of weeds & only spot spray the yards that have a few weeds.

Herbicide, that is used to kill broadleaf weeds, can put stress on yards. Due to this fact, we use it sparingly to ensure the best outcome for the yard.

Fertilizer & Grub Control

*Around this time of the year, yellow nutsedge starts to invade. Not all yards get it. It is a light, neon green and grows significantly faster than your turf grass. It takes a special spray to kill it. If you have a problem, please let us know. We can take care of it for a small additional fee.

The spraying of weeds in any location other than the lawn is an additional service not included in the lawn treatments. Please let us know if this service is required & we are happy to schedule it.

Fertilizer

As for fertilizer & herbicides, we only use the best Lesco brand products.

From the 2nd through the 4th treatments, if we feel there are weeds that need to be sprayed in the yards, then we do it. There is no additional charge for this service.
